Groovetrail will be hosting three professional development workshops aimed at helping self-employed artists, musicians, and those interested in music learn about various topics in the arts.
March 30th: Money, finances and being your own boss
Keeping track of income can be complicated, especially if you are a musician or artist without a "normal" job. Hosted by Groovetrail founder Erica von Kleist, this workshop will concentrate on what it means to be a freelancer in the arts world and how to manage your $ efficiently.
April 6th: Vocal Masterclass with Eric Michael Krop
In the midst of a sabbatical from NYC, Broadway phenom and Alpine Theater Project regular Eric Krop will offer an evening of tips on singing, breath support, and how to find you "voice". All ages and levels welcome!
April 13th: Marketing for Musicians
It's 2015 - The music business has become the wild west and it's anyone's game. Northwest Artist Syndicate director Erica von Kleist and guest speaker Marco Forcone will discuss the industry as it relates to up-and-coming talent. Topics will conclude marketing, self-promotion, and how to make oneself a commodity as a working musician
